The flight's booking records did not show any pregnant passengers who needed to present a fit-to-fly certificate. According to the pregnant passenger guidelines on the official website of EVA Air, the company will not allow passengers who are pregnant with a single child beyond 36 weeks (within 4 weeks of the expected due date) or passengers who are pregnant with multiples beyond 32 weeks, as well as postpartum mothers within 7 days, to board the plane. Passengers who are pregnant with a single child between 28 weeks and 35 weeks and 6 days (within 12 to 4 weeks of the expected due date) or passengers who are pregnant with multiples between 28 weeks and 31 weeks and 6 days (within 12 to 8 weeks of the expected due date) must have their attending doctor fill out EVA Air's fitness certificate within 10 days before the flight and complete the reservation 48 hours before takeoff.
