TEPCO re-explains Fukushima nuclear waste leak, cites human error

Israeli Embassy in Sweden Targeted by Grenade Throwers, Bomb Squad Detonates Device


 On Wednesday (January 31), the Israeli Embassy in Sweden reported a suspicious explosive device to Swedish authorities. In response, the police immediately cordoned off a 100-meter radius around the embassy. A bomb squad safely detonated the device, which the Israeli ambassador described as an attempted terrorist attack.




The police refused to disclose the nature of the suspicious object and did not reveal how it entered the embassy grounds. According to sources, the Swedish media reported that the object is believed to be a hand grenade, which was thrown over the fence and landed near the embassy.
