TEPCO re-explains Fukushima nuclear waste leak, cites human error

  On Thursday (15th), the Tokyo Electric Power Company of Japan provided further clarification on the cause of the nuclear waste water leakage at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant, stating that it was due to human error on Wednesday (7th). The protective cover is constructed by connecting multiple wooden panels with stainless steel screws to form a unique geometric frame. The covering layer is made of transparent mesh film to allow for photosynthesis of crops while protecting them from insects and birds, minimizing natural threats during the growth period.
