On Thursday (15th), the Tokyo Electric Power Company of Japan provided further clarification on the cause of the nuclear waste water leakage at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant, stating that it was due to human error on Wednesday (7th). Last Wednesday, about 5.5 tons of radioactive contaminated water leaked from the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant's water purification system. According to Tokyo Electric Power Co. (TEPCO), the leak occurred on Thursday morning in the high-temperature incinerator building while the facility was cleaning and treating contaminated water from the reactor building with the "second cesium adsorption system" to reduce radiation levels in preparation for maintenance. The system is connected to the external wall's exhaust vent, through which the contaminated water leaked. Conflict in Gaza Continues for 100 Days, 24,000 People Killed

Heavy fighting between the two sides continues in the Israeli-Palestinian area.

The conflict between Israel and the radical Islamic group Hamas in Palestine has now reached its 100th day since it began on October 7th last year. On Sunday (14th), Israeli tanks and aircraft attacked targets in the southern and central areas of Gaza, resulting in intense gun battles in some areas. Local communication and internet services have been disrupted for the third consecutive day, making it even more difficult for rescue workers to operate in the affected areas.

The clashes have been concentrated in the southern Han Younis area of the Gaza Strip. According to Hamas, they have also launched attacks on Israeli tanks in the central Bureij and Maghazi areas of Gaza, in addition to Han Younis. The Israeli military, on the other hand, has reported that Hamas has inflicted casualties on several soldiers.

The military stated that several missile launchers belonging to Hamas were destroyed. Despite this, Hamas launched a new wave of attacks on the Israeli town of Ashdod, located 40 kilometers away, demonstrating their continued rocket capabilities. The extent of casualties and damage caused by these attacks is currently unknown.

According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, 125 people have died and 265 have been injured in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths since the outbreak of war to 23,968, with over 60,000 injured.

Korea's Han Accuses Kim Jong Un of Exploiting Grandfather's Image to Hasten Idol Project

According to officials from South Korea's Ministry of Unification on Thursday (15th), North Korea has been actively promoting the idolization of current leader Kim Jong-un by utilizing the image of the late leader Kim Il-sung as "supreme commander during wartime", "father of the socialist family", and "ideological leader" in order to strengthen control over the system and unite internal forces. During the last year's Labor Party Conference, Kim Jong Un mentioned the "pacification of the entire territory of South Korea," which evokes memories of the "territorial integrity" mentioned in North Korea's government manifesto by Kim Il Sung on September 10, 1948. Officials from the Ministry of Unification analyzed that this move was intended to emphasize Kim Jong Un as the supreme commander who inherited Kim Il Sung's idea of "unification through armed communism." Furthermore, during the Central Research Discussion ...
